Friday Fill ins

Haven't done one of these in awhile.

1. Laughter always makes me feel better.

2. "I think I'll" are the three words that started off the last email I sent.

3. What I'm most looking forward to today is reading my book (The Passage) tonight before bed.

4. Ellie puts a smile on my face.

5. Where in the world did we get so many kids clothes? Three kids equals bins and bins of clothes in every size.

6. All three kids napping at the same time today is just what I needed!

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to unpacking my scrap stuff from last nights crop, tomorrow my plans include yard work and Sunday, I want to keep the girls from combusting while waiting for Grandma Mary Ella to arrive.

Friday Fill Ins

1. I was laughing out loud last night when I heard Scout singing Bust a Move.
2. I was tired last night and I left my book tucked in my luggage.
3. Why do birds suddenly appear? Everytime you are near.
4. My May Day accident at age 5 that resulted in 70+ stitches was in my thoughts today.
5. One of my father's favorite sayings was wasn't that a dandy?
6. A bad hair day--I know that feeling!
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to going to my parents cabin tomorrow my plans include beating my Dad at cribbage and catching up with Matt & Katie and Sunday, I want to survive the drive home with the girls by myself in one piece.

Egg Hunt and Fill Ins

1. Where are my job offers?

3. I'd like to see if Avatar lives up to the hype. We'll watch it on BluRay so that will be as close to 3D as we can get.
4. When I was a teen, I thought my 1979 AMC Pacer was da bomb!!

5. One of my mother's favorite sayings was 'Have I told you yet today?'

6. I'd have a hard time doing without my coffee in the morning. It's the taste not the caffeine.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to scrapping at my house with Kim & Jess, tomorrow my plans include my niece Mallory's 1st communion and Sunday, I want to get ready for the week ahead!

Here is a quick little layout I did as part of a challenge at Citrus Tree Studio. I am really into gray right now. And yellow. I took the October Afternoon paper and punched it to resemble a flower. I did some selective coloring on the black and white photo so that the yellow egg stood out. The alphabet is October Afternoon as well (Thanks to my brother-in-law Matt G for the perfect Christmas gift!)

1. I'd like to teach the world to sing. Or at least this years American Idol contestants.
2. One of my most favorite romantic memories is how/when Nick proposed.
3. Last night, I had pork tenderloin, broccoli and a baked potato for dinner.
4. Sorry for the loud, active kids. That's just how we make them.
5. Can we stop wetting the bed at night? We're going commando with Bennet- wish us luck
6. One of my worst temptations is sweets; chocolate is hard to resist!

1. In 1992, I was finishing up my sophomore year of high school. Nick was graduating. (No- we didn't go to HS together)
2. Nothing makes a bad better than Ellie's laughter and smiles.
3. Do what you feel in your gut, with what you have to work with, where you feel at home.
4. On a little weekend getaway to NYC is where I'd like to be. (Jealous of my parents, Katie & Matt right now!)
5. The trees and flowers are telling me that it's allergy season. Or as Bennet calls them- kalergies.
6. The sex addiction (cough cough) stories just keep going on. Enough already.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to finishing a layout, tomorrow my plans include yard work if the weather cooperates and Sunday, I want to edit photos and get an order placed.

1. I know that I'll miss these times but sometimes having a boppy, nursing newborn and affectionate 2 1/2 year old on my lap at the same time is too much for this multitasker.
2. April is the longest month because it always has that mix of rain/snow before spring really arrives.
3. You can't help but laugh when you see Bennet and Scout do the 'Naked Dance'.
4. The Winter Olympics start soon (yeah!!!); bring it on!
5. Where have you looked for scrap inspiration lately? I need more ideas
6. The Hurt Locker is now available on dvd. It was a pretty powerful movie.

And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to eating a delicious meal made by our thoughtful neighbors- The Gasall's (thank you thank you!!), tomorrow my plans include catching up on laundry as long as the washer gets repaired today and Sunday, I want to attempt a family trip to Sam's Club or Target. One- not both :)

I resisted the urge to stitch the pink circles and used my circle cutter instead. Talk about restraint.

1. The lesson I learned yesterday was no matter how often you wipe a kids nose there is still more snot.

3. I watched the steam rising from the hot cup of coffee and thought: digging to the bottom of the cooler for the Peppermint Mocha creamer was worth it..
4. Everything is going to be okay.
5. I'll take a Coke over a Pepsi anyday.
6. Being hormonal and teary at Christmas time is exhausting- at least from my point of view.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to helping Nick make Bennet's birthday cake, tomorrow my plans include celebrating Bennet's 4th birthday (a couple days early) with family and Sunday, I want to make a Gingerbread house. Or relax!

6.The bumble in Rudolph is shadowy and ominous. (On a side note. Rudolph kind of sets a horrible example for kids at the beginning of the show. "Hey Rudolph, Bummer you have that nose or you could have been something? Let's cover that handicap/differentiating factor ok? Don't be a misfit!)

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to the Holiday parade, tomorrow my plans include cutting down our Christmas Tree and Sunday, I want to bake cookies at G&G Sweeney's!

1. We need to repair and paint the wall at the end of the hallway.

2. Seeing the girls genuine excitement when Nick came home last night made me smile.
3. If you want to find me this afternoon I'm watching New Moon.
4. I'm excited because we now own a MiniVan. A car that will fit our soon-to-be family of 5.
5. Massachusetts has a proposed 5% sales tax on elective cosmetic surgery; I think that sounds fair.

6. Traditions that I look forward to every year makes for a happy holiday.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to Great Grandma Sweeney's 90th birthday party, tomorrow my plans include celebrating my 34th birthday with family and cake and Sunday, I want to start making lists/packing for our Thanksgiving holiday.
