PageMaps

I was thrilled when I was asked to do a layout for Becky Fleck's PageMaps newsletter this month. I have been a stalker, er fan of her work for a long time. I loved the sketch I had to work with and had so much fun with it. I can see myself using it over and over.

Here is the final product. I cut the butterflies from some American Crafts paper and boosted them up with foam squares. I handstitched the flight patterns freehand with floss. I also handstitched around the scalloped paper. I'm really into handstitching these days.

JOURNALING: A simple Saturday afternoon outside. Warm spring sun shining down on your sweet face. Your stunning blue eyes and trademark smile make my heart soar.
